A lot of times in life we play the victim and blame other people as the villain or our lives when if you take a step back at life every situation that you are in you probably put yourself there. Meaning that you were the actual villain in your movie.
When I joined the military and went off to basic training. The Drill Seargents would always point at us in the platoon with all their fingers pointed at us. One day I asked, my drill instructor "Why he always point like that ?" He replied with "Because Prite(Drill instructor talk for "Private") when you point your finger there are always 3 pointed back at you".
That shit stuck with me for life even though I didn't always apply it. It wasn't until I got older I learned that part of being a man or even an adult for that matter is accepting responsibility for the situations that you're in and the actions you've taken. The Moment this changed for me was when I found out I was gonna be a dad. This is when I remembered those 3 fingers pointed at me. Now I had to be responsible for myself, my actions, and another human being.
At this point, I realized I couldn't put myself in situations that would set me back in life.I had to be responsible for my success. I couldn't be the unintentional villain in this movie anymore I had to Be the Hero for me and my son. So my tip for this Monday is stopping being a villain to your own life, instead be the hero in your story Bro.
