In nature every Species shows there young how to live and survive. A Gorilla shows it's young how to be a Gorilla ,a Duck teaches it's ducklings how to be ducks, etc. We as humans are the only Species on the planet that try to teach our young different. We try to tell instead of show.
I remember times when I was younger where you really couldn't tell me shit. I would watch people I looked up too, and how they move and I would mimic all the things they did. Especially the ones who practiced what they preached. I really didn't pay much attention to older men who honestly were trying to help but weren't living what they were saying. I'm using these examples because like in a Lot of cases in this day and age my father lived in a different state so even though I learned a Lot from my dad I had to equally learn from men around me.
I'm going into all this because my tip for today being that fathers Day is right around the corner is as dads let's set a great example for our young to follow if we want our sons to be great men. we could definitely help them by showing them how to be great men by being great men ourselves! The same goes if you want your daughter to end up with someone great. You should be great so she can identify it. Show them how a great man treats his woman so they know what love, trust ,and respect are.
Simply put let's do more showing and doing and less telling what not to do when it comes to our children, kids we mentor, and coach!!!
